Accessibility

Access to skills intelligence for people with different needs.

We want visitors to be able to explore the Observatory, understand its findings and contact the team using the devices and assistive technologies that work for them. Accessibility is part of the development and review of the website and its content.

Our accessibility objective

Our objective is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at Level AA. This guides work on keyboard navigation, visible focus, readable contrast, clear headings and form labels, and alternatives for visual information.

This objective is distinct from the assessed conformance status below. It does not constitute a certification of the website or of externally linked resources.

Maps and data visualisations

The Training Institutions map provides a visual route to the directory. You can also explore institution records through the directory listing. Country markers should not be the only way to reach this information.

Charts and indicators should be accompanied by readable explanations and relevant data or source information. If a visualisation prevents you from understanding a finding, contact us for support or an alternative presentation.

Documents and external websites

Reports and resources supplied by other organisations may have different accessibility characteristics. If you cannot use a document, tell us its title, link and the information you need. We will assess the request and explain the available options, including contacting the source organisation where appropriate.

Report a barrier or request assistance

Use the Contact page or email info@skills4circularity.eu, with the subject Accessibility support. Include the affected page or file, describe the difficulty and indicate your preferred way of receiving the information. Details of your browser or assistive technology are optional.
